Going closer to nature...
As monsoon has made its appearance here in Mumbai the weather has become
pleasant as compared to summer. Grabbing this opportunity I rushed to one of my
favorite place which is closer to nature and allows solitude required for
intense sadhana. I won't bother you about the whereabouts of the place
but here are few snaps with spiritual messages they convey.
Spiritual enlightenment needs no luxuries or material comforts. Here is the
"hut" wherein I have experienced many of my enlightening moments and mysterious
awakenings. No fan, no carpet, insects (and sometimes snakes!) crawling around.
But who bothers about odds when absorbed in ecstasy?
God's love is like this waterfall, continuously flowing for the
sincere seekers. When a seeker baths in this divine nectar other worldly matters
lose their significance.
As explained in Bhagvat Gita, this world is like an inverted tree
extremely difficult to cut. Only sincere sadhakas can escape from its
trap.
In the absence of Guru's grace spiritual life can be dry like this small
tree. Hence, one must seek guidance from an able Guru at any cost.
On every road of life we come across choices. Our choice decides where we are
heading for. The same is true on the spiritual journey also. Right choices about
your path decides your progress. An able guide in the form of a Guru is a great
help here.
Work hard towards your goal. Be honest, don't get disappointed by small
events of life. One day your spiritual life will flourish like these flowers.
Offer everything to Him. That is Ishwarapranidhana. Offer all the
leaves (i.e karmas) of the Bela
tree of life to the Paramashiva.
Then alone He will talk with you.
